Standards are important as they allow websites to be viewed across multiple Operating Systems and browsers. The organisation that monitors these changes is known as the "World Wide Web Consortium" - or "W3c".

This group is dedicated to providing a standard for Web Developers so they can produce more organised, logical, and problem-free systems and content.
